If you were to make any change to lose unwanted weight and/or bring about better health then begin with transitioning your diet to one of whole foods.

The food industry is about profit, not health! The brightly colored packages aligning your grocery aisles are filled with depleted, devalued and toxic ingredients designed to taste good but provide little or no nutrition to the consumer.

The food and drug administration is in bed with the pharmaceutical companies. They have a working relationship! This relationship is not based on providing for the welfare of our people but rather providing high-end profits for those involved. If you are interested in taking charge of your own health you owe it to yourself to get educated.

What is the Standard American Diet? It is made up of bleached white flour, bleached white sugar, refined table salt, highly processed meats, cheeses and other products, meats from hormone injected, chemically induced, traumatized animals, and fruits and vegetables that have been sprayed with pesticides and other chemicals as well as irradiated. There is more! Much more than I can address at this time! But do you get the point?

Purchasing high quality whole food may cost a bit more initially but in the long run it will save you thousands in health care costs and loss of energy.

It is time that we take charge of our own health and wellness by purchasing foods that actually nourish our bodies. These foods consist of organic fruits and vegetables, whole grains, nuts, nut butters, seeds, legumes, sea vegetables, fresh juices and superfoods like spirulina, chlorella, raw chocolate, goji berries and other delicious selections. Healing with whole food nutrition can be fun, delicious and easy.

Initially you will have to break your addiction to processed foods and learn new ways of living. This is a lifestyle change and requires a commitment but in the long run it is well worth the effort.
